English: Musical notation showing the lowest note written for a contrabass oboe produced in 1868 by C. Mahillon of Brussels. It is a conical brass tube of very large proportions, with lateral holes placed as theory demands, in geometrical relation, with a diameter almost equal to the section of the tube at the point where the hole is cut.
Français : Notation musicale montrant la note la plus basse que peut jouer un hautbois contrebasse fabriqué en 1868 par C. Mahillon de Bruxelles. C'est un tube conique en laiton de grande taille, avec des trous latéraux placé selon la théorie, dans des rapports géométriques, et dont le diamètre est presque celui de la section du tube là où se trouve le trou. |
